Men how would you feel if ur were told the sex was bad?

My husband has problems with lasting too little (2min) and he knows that its a problem. Well yesterday we were having a convo and the words "our sex is bad" slipped out. He didnt say anything and we both kind of changed the subject but how would you feel? Will this prevent him from initiating it in the future?
